Chef Nate - Head Chef
Chef Nate’s journey at The Rosebriar is one that truly reflects growth, dedication, and belief.
He began working in maintenance under the previous ownership, where former owner and Head Chef Mike recognized something special in him, a natural talent and potential in the kitchen. Mike took Nate under his wing, personally training him and sharing his knowledge, techniques, and passion for the craft.
Through hard work, mentorship, and a deep desire to learn, Nate stepped confidently into his role as Head Chef. Today, he brings both creativity and consistency to every dish that leaves the kitchen.
We are incredibly proud of the chef he has become and grateful for the leadership he brings to our culinary experience.
Alyssa - Front of House & Sous Chef
Alyssa is one of those rare team members who simply says, “What do you need?”, and truly means it.
While she primarily serves guests in the front of the house, she has graciously stepped into whatever role is needed. From preparing breakfast and assisting with weekly food prep to helping wherever support is required, her flexibility and positive attitude make her truly invaluable.
Her willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities reflects her dedication not only to her role, but to the success of the entire team.
Her friendly presence, strong work ethic, and willingness to step up at any moment bring consistency and positivity to The Rosebriar every single day. We are incredibly grateful for her dedication and heart.
Joy - Front of House
Joy’s warm smile and welcoming spirit help set the tone the moment guests arrive.
She has a natural gift for hospitality, making people feel comfortable, valued, and truly at home. Whether she’s assisting in the dining room or checking in with a table, Joy brings kindness and attentiveness to every interaction.
What guests quickly discover is her sense of humor. Joy has a way of telling just the right funny joke at just the right moment, filling the room with laughter and making meals feel relaxed and memorable. Her lighthearted personality creates an atmosphere where guests can unwind and enjoy themselves.

RaeAnne - Head Innkeeper
RaeAnne serves as our Innkeeper, and her attention to detail is something we deeply value.
She takes great pride in keeping the rooms clean, tidy, and truly guest-ready, ensuring each space feels welcoming, refreshed, and cared for. Her standards are high, and that commitment shows in the comfort our guests experience.
Beyond the inn, RaeAnne’s knowledge of the great outdoors is impressive. She understands the local trails, enjoys fishing, and even bow hunts, giving her firsthand insight into the adventures that draw so many guests to the PA Wilds.
